Massimiliano has always transformed aromas and flavors into dishes.  He loves simple tastes, a clean kitchen, fast cooking, and marinades.  He learned to cook from his mother, his friend Fulvio Pierangelini, and was inspired by the seashore of Nettuno, his home.  Over the years, with schooling and practice, he is skilled at reinterpreting traditional and regional dishes.  Massimiliano Mariola is also a chef who loves the media.  He explains the world of cooking with simplicity and directness as he meets many chefs who are guests in the studios of the Gambero Rosso Channel.  He provides consultation services for kitchen design projects and helps plan menus for events.  Massimiliano also conducts classes and seminars in cooking schools.  On the Gambero Rosso Channel he stars in La Cucina Regionale (The Regional Kitchen), La Cucine d’Italia (Italian Cuisine), Paese Che Vai (Different Countries, Different Customs), and Patata Docet (The Potato Diaries).
