Let Gambero Rosso teach you how to cook, experience flavor, and work in the food and wine industry. Città Del Gusto was founded with the intention to give food fans a chance to participate With the founding of Città Del Gusto, we wanted to give food fans the chance to participate in amateur or professional level cooking classes with distinguished chefs. A wide range of advanced training opportunities include specialized courses in communication, wine marketing and restaurant management, in addition to a master’s degree in communication. On the second floor, a classroom hosts eight stations outfitted for induction cooking, each one able to accommodate 16 people at once. Also available to students on the third floor are two adjoining classrooms that can accommodate up to 48 people, fully equipped with a gas stove, sink, tools and workstations for arranging ingredients for food preparation. A pastry kitchen and two additional classrooms intended for more traditional instruction complete the range of areas allocated for Gambero Rosso programs.
Teatro della Cucina
The main attraction of Città Del Gusto, Teatro della Cucina (Theater of Italian Cooking), was designed to resemble a nineteenth century theater and is a place in which celebrated personalities of Italian and International cuisine perform their culinary magic. A series of dinners with live demonstrations allow guests to savor dishes while learning the secrets of renowed chefs.
Teatro del Vino and Wine Bar
Teatro del Vino (Theater of Wine) occupies the top floor of Città Del Gusto and has a terrace with remarkable views of Rome. Perfectly suited for wine tastings, conferences and dinners, it features a large hall with an office and a kitchen. An American-style cocktail bar offers wine tastings and aperitifs.

Salone dei Quattordici
The Salone dei Quattordici (Hall of 14) furnishes the perfect environment to host exclusive events and tastings of particularly fine wines. The Hall can accommodate either sit-down or standing gatherings.
Salone dei Grandi Eventi
The Salone dei Grandi Eventi (Hall of Large Events) can host up to 500 guests, teatro di kermesse enogastronomiche, conferences, events, and exhibitions. Equipped with two large professional kitchens, it is an open space that can accommodate up to 400 seated guests. It is an ideal space for gala dinners and conventions.
Salone Blu
Salone Blu (Blue Hall) is an open space covering square meters that can host exhibitions, fairs, and other large events.
Shop
A specialty shop at Città Del Gusto sells all of the publications by Gambero Rosso (including guides, food-related reference books, and the bi-monthly magazine) as well as a selection of quality foods and wine, cookbooks and gourmet tools. The shop also sells a wide assortment of accessories with the Gambero Rosso signature. It is the only place in Rome where you can buy Gambero Rosso merchandise.

Television Studios
The second floor contains two fully equipped production studios where Gambero Rosso’s live shooting and multimedia operations take place. The studios are the only area not accessible to the public.
The Terraces
2500 square meters are available at Gambero Rosso for outdoor events. The larger terrace is situated on the second floor and the Wine Bar terrace is situated on the fourth floor.
Plan Your Event
Rome’s Città Del Gusto not only offers cooking courses, wine tastings, and entertainment. It is the perfect location to host large interactive events, wine and food related meetings, events, press conferences, conventions, team building activities and other personalized events. Our staff is trained to organize every aspect of your event, from its initial conception to its arrangement and final details.
A series of rooms can host between 20 and 1,200 guests. High-tech culinary and banquet infrastructure allows meals to be prepared for a large numbers and all areas are equipped with the latest generation of audiovisual technology as well as a Wi-Fi network. Being completely wired allows audiovisual programs to support events, accommodate video streaming, and produce DVDs. Città Del Gusto is also used for the production of films, TV dramas, commercials and music videos.
