A prestigious location for a tri-colour gathering point, in Olympic London, and an exceptional showcase for "Made in Italy": Benvenuta Italia Street, in the heart of Covent Garden. An event dedicated to the outstanding talents that have contributed
to, and continue to raise, the level of Italy’s renowned name the world over.

In parallel to the Olympic Games, Trendeventi Ltd will launch a can’t-miss event unique in its kind. From the 4th to the 11th of August, one of the best Italian chefs in London, Pino Ragona, Gialli Li Muli (an artist whom through his work has revolutionized the sphere – and the style – of satirical graphic design) and Gianluca Pellerito, internationally renowned drummer prodigy (having already played with a long list of jazz giants) will be part of a genuine open-air installation hosted by Benvenuta Italia.

Goodwin’s Court, the oldest street in town, will in fact be transformed into an evocative journey through the senses that tickles the taste buds, catches the eye and pleases the ears.

Aromas and flavors of Pino Ragona’s cuisine (Giovanni’s Restaurant), will pay homage to the tasty treasures of Emilia Romagna. The gigantic replicas of Gianni Li Muli’s satirical portraits, known the world over and exhibited at New York’s MoMa, will form a peculiar path where one strolls alongside the likes of Winston Churchill, Albert Einstein and Liza Minnelli. Finally, on-lookers may enjoy the beat and rhythm of one of the youngest drummers in the world, Gianluca Pellerito, who will play an amazing concert with his quintet.

A press event focused on the excellence of Italy will also take place at the Italian Cultural Institute in Belgrave Square on the 10th of August. Trendeventi Ltd and the brand "Piacere Modena", that represents 400 modenese companies, will give you the chance to discover the latest and best Italian practices together with Italian professionals and marketing experts: where the Italian food and wine market is going next plus the huge heritage of Modena and its region, Emilia Romagna. In fact, most of what the rest of the world considers Italian food hails from this city and its region, Emilia. Velvety smooth olive oils, world-famous cheeses, savory cured meats, rich tomato sauces, the red fruity light-sparkling wine Lambrusco grace the tables of this sunny region.

The "king of all cheeses" Parmigiano-Reggiano has found its way into recipes around the world but its production is strictly enforced to ensure a continued tradition of quality. Pork products include Parma's famous Prosciutto, Zibello's time-honored Culatello, and the Zampone (stuffed trotter sausage) of Modena. The area of Modena is also the home of the highly coveted Balsamic vinegar of Modena, yet another masterpiece of Emilia Romagna that is often imitated, but never duplicated.

All in all over these next few days your senses will be taken to completely new dimensions. Whether it be taste, sight sound or smell you will be exposed to the finest that Italy has to offer, and will realise the true meaning of "Made in Italy".
