Caterina Borsato opened her wine bar in 1995 and has managed to build a large following among Melbourne residents. Furniture, vintage, and marble give the venue a sophisticated, classy look, while the kitchen makes it perfect for sampling traditional Italian dishes. The wine list, however, remains impressive for its depth and number of different labels and vintages. It is worth lingering and spending time on it because you can find excellent bottles at a more than reasonable price.
