Anchovies with figs


Lightly scrape, rinse, dry and fillet the anchovies. Peel onions and finely chop the white part only.

Peel the figs, add the chopped anchovies and mash into fine puree with a fork.

Lightly toast the slices of bread, sprinkle with oil, add the chopped onions before spreading the mixture of figs.
