From the dream world of Walt Disney to the tables of prominent chefs, Francesca Barberini has had a magical journey that brought her to the Gambero Rosso Channel.  Born in Rome and 37 years old, she defines herself as a “regular” woman who divides her time between her son, Tommaso, her work, and her hobbies, which include watching horseracing.  She believes that the secret to a good life is to combine work with passion.  Her TV programs do not tell you everything: she holds a degree with honors in Economics and has a busy work schedule that ranges from journalism to consulting in the food and wine industry.  Since 2004 she has been the female face of the Gambero Rosso Channel, a satellite channel dedicated to food and wine which airs on SKY (411).  She continues to host food-related programs: “Questo L’ho Fatto Io!” (“I Made This!”) airing everyday on the Gambero Rosso Channel and “Mercati d’Italia” (“Italian Markets”), on the same network.
